Role & responsibilities
Airbus Technical Services / Defect Cell role for licensed A320 B1/B2 AMEs,
This person will be the technical problem-solver for an airlines A320 fleet.
They will:
Look at aircraft defects, pilot reports and maintenance reports.
Troubleshoot defects and decide the correct technical action.
Coordinate with MCC/MOC, maintenance teams, MRO and logistics.
Manage deferred and repetitive defects.
Support AOG situations and aircraft-on-ground technical issues.
Prepare daily fleet/maintenance status reports.
Review ADs, SBs and AOTs.
Ensure the aircraft remains secure, airworthy and reliable.
Work in shifts at the customer's location.
