Role & responsibilities
Source and procure required materials, products, and services within budget and timelines.
Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers/vendors.
Negotiate pricing, quality, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
Coordinate with internal departments for purchase requirements.
Ensure timely availability of materials for smooth operations.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain vendor relationships.
Implement cost-saving procurement strategies without compromising quality.
Conduct market research for pricing, products, and recent suppliers.

Preferred candidate profile

B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering is mandatory. Candidate should have 25 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably related to construction materials. Solid vendor sourcing, negotiation, cost control, communication, and coordination skills are required. Candidate should be proactive, result-oriented, able to work under pressure, and willing to travel to project sites.
