Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse business and functional requirements to design comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test

plans.
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, system, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

across web and enterprise applications.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues not covered by scripted test cases.
- Log, track, and manage defects through their full lifecycle identification, triage, retesting, and closure —

using a defect tracking tool (e.g., JIRA).
- Validate REST APIs and backend responses using tools such as Postman, including request/response and

status-code checks.
- Perform basic backend and data validation using SQL queries against relational databases.
- Maintain and update the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure full test coverage.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing where applicable.
- Support UAT cycles and production release validation, coordinating with business stakeholders.




- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies — sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives — and provide

QA input during grooming.
- Prepare and maintain transparent test documentation: test plans, test cases, test summary reports, and defect

reports.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and verify the resolution of reported defects.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, checklists, and testing standards.

Required Skill & Qualification:
- 4+ of hands-on experience in manual/functional software testing.
- Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proven experience writing clear, thorough test scenarios, test cases, and test plans from requirements/user

stories.
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail,

Zephyr, or similar.
- Working knowledge of API testing using Postman (request construction, response/status validation, b
