About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
Lathe Machine Turner / Conventional Lathe Operator
to join our team.

The candidate will be responsible for machining engineering plastic rods, sheets, blocks and components as per customer requirements, dimensions and drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate conventional lathe machines safely and efficiently

• Turning, facing, boring, drilling and threading operations

• Machine engineering plastic materials such as Nylon, PP, POM / Delrin, HDPE, PTFE, Cast Nylon and other plastics

• Read and understand basic engineering drawings and dimensions

• Perform accurate measurements using vernier caliper, micrometer and other measuring instruments

• Maintain required dimensions and surface finish

• Inspect finished components for dimensional accuracy

• Minimize material wastage and maintain good productivity





• Maintain cleanliness and safety around the machine

• Follow production schedules and customer specifications

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Lathe Machine Turner / Conventional Turner preferred

• Experience in machining plastic or engineering plastic materials will be an advantage

• Knowledge of basic measuring instruments

• Ability to understand dimensions and drawings

• Good attention to accuracy and quality

• Responsible, punctual and willing to work as part of a team

Preferred Experience

Experience with machining
Nylon, POM / Delrin, PTFE, PP, HDPE, Cast Nylon and other engineering plastics
will be preferred.
