About the Role

Our Client is looking for a energetic and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to support its finance function from India while closely collaborating with the finance and leadership teams in the United States. The ideal candidate should have a robust background in manufacturing accounting, coupled with a sound understanding of US accounting principles (US GAAP). This role requires excellent financial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a global business workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete accounting cycle in compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Oversee General Ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end/year-end closing.




Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, standard costing, BOM costing, overhead allocation, and variance analysis.
Analyze production costs, inventory movements, and plant performance to improve operational efficiency.
Partner with manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Support budgeting, forecasting, cost planning, and profitability analysis.
Coordinate with the US Finance team on reporting, compliance, audits, and financial planning.
Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with corporate financial policies.
Drive process improvements, ERP optimization, and automation initiatives.

Desired Profile
Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6–10 years of post-qualification experience.
Minimum 4–5 years of experience in a manufacturing organization.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and exposure to US accounting practices.
