A food and beverage (F&B;) associate is a hospitality qualified who provides food and beverage service to guests. Their responsibilities include:
Receiving guests: Greeting guests and addressing their requests and queries
Taking orders: Taking food and beverage orders from guests
Serving food and beverages: Serving food and beverages to guests
After-dining activities: Presenting bills and sending guests off
Setting tables: Setting tables based on the occasion and meal
Laying buffets: Keeping buffets stocked with fresh dishes and clearing away dirty plates and cutlery
Serving drinks: Serving wines, spirits, cocktails, and coffee

F&B; associates should be polite, well-groomed, and service-oriented, with interpersonal skills and attention to detail.



They should also be conversational, understand dining etiquette, and be professional.
