We are looking for a Senior Accounts Executive to independently manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations of our garment manufacturing business. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, managing payables and receivables, banking transactions, GST reconciliation, invoicing and supporting monthly financial closing.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manufacturing accounting, positive knowledge of GST and TDS, and be comfortable working independently on Zoho Books/Zoho Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Accounting

- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Zoho.
- Record purchase, sales, expense, journal and other accounting entries.
- Ensure proper accounting and documentation of all transactions.
- Maintain vendor and customer ledgers and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Purchase & GRN
- Verify purchase invoices against Purchase Orders and GRNs.
- Coordinate with Stores/Purchase for timely GRN and invoice processing.
- Ensure proper accounting of raw materials, consumables, services and other purchases.
- Track pending invoices and discrepancies with vendors.

Accounts Payable

- Maintain vendor payable ageing and payment schedules.
- Verify vendor invoices, supporting documents and approvals before payment.
- Prepare payment requests and coordinate with management/banks for timely payments.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve outstanding differences.

Accounts Receivable

- Raise sales invoices and ensure timely dispatch of invoices to customers.
- Maintain customer outstanding and ageing reports.
- Follow up for collections and coordinate with the sales/merchandising team.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment/invoice discrepancies.

Banking & Reconciliation
- Record all bank transactions accurately in Zoho.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation and identify/reconcile differences.
- Monitor bank balances and outstanding transactions.




- Coordinate with banks for payment-related matters and documentation.

GST & Tax Compliance
- Perform GST reconciliation between books, GST portal and purchase/sales records.
- Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase/ITC records.
- Support preparation and filing of GST returns.
- Ensure proper GST treatment for purchases, sales, credit notes and debit notes.
- Handle TDS accounting, reconciliation and related compliance activities.
- Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants whenever required.

MIS & Reporting
- Prepare periodic reports on:
- Receivables ageing
- Payables ageing
- Bank balances
- Purchase and sales
- GST reconciliation
- Outstanding payments and collections
- Provide accurate financial data and reports to management.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate in B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification.
- 47 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Experience in a manufacturing company is preferred, particularly garment/textile/apparel manufacturing.
- Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, AP and AR.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books /inventory/ Zoho Finance will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to independently manage day-to-day accounting activities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Should be proactive in identifying accounting discrepancies and closing pending issues.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in garment manufacturing, textile manufacturing, trading or other inventory-intensive manufacturing businesses will be preferred.
