Role Description The Senior Accountant role at Naukripay group is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi.

The Senior

Accountant will oversee daily accounting operations, including managing general ledger entries, reviewing journal vouchers, and ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions. This role will be responsible for preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, monitoring cash flow, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.

Accountant will review and improve internal controls, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, and coordinate with auditors and cross-functional teams.



The position also involves analyzing financial data to provide insights for management, supervising junior accounting staff, and contributing to process optimization within the finance function.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, including experience with general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliations.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as solid skills in MS Excel and other reporting tools for data analysis and financial reporting.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to management.
- Understanding of direct and indirect taxation, compliance, and statutory reporting requirements, including coordination with auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor junior accounting staff, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a high level of integrity in handling financial information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or CPA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior accounting or similar role, preferably within a fast-paced or growth-oriented organization.
