1. Job Purpose
To manage and supervise the complete accounting and finance operations of the company, ensuring accurate books of accounts, timely GST/TDS compliance, taxation, reconciliations, financial reporting, and preparation of the Balance Sheet and Profit &
- Loss Account.
1. Key Responsibilities
A. Accounting &
- Financial Management
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate accounting entries.
- Supervise accounts payable, receivable, banking, expenses, and general ledger.
- Review and approve journal entries, vouchers, debit/credit notes, and ledger postings.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts.
- Prepare and review Profit &
- Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance and Cash Flow statements
.
- Ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
B. GST &
- Taxation
- Have strong working knowledge of GST laws, rules and compliance requirements.
- Review GST sales and purchase data and ensure accurate GST accounting.
- Supervise preparation and filing of applicable GST returns.
- Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase records/books and identify discrepancies.
- Monitor Input Tax Credit (ITC), output GST, RCM and GST adjustments.
- Coordinate with consultants/auditors for GST notices, assessments and departmental queries.
- Ensure timely payment of GST and other statutory liabilities.
C. TDS &
- Statutory Compliance
- Manage complete TDS accounting, deduction, payment and return filing process.
- Ensure correct TDS rates and applicability on various transactions.
- Reconcile TDS payable with books and challans.
- Coordinate for issuance of TDS certificates and resolution of TDS mismatches.
- Maintain compliance with other applicable statutory requirements.
D.
Balance
Sheet &
- Finalization
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual Balance Sheet.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of:
- Bank Accounts
- Debtors &
- Creditors
- GST Ledgers
- TDS Ledgers
- Advances
- Loans &
- Liabilities
- Fixed Assets
- Other Balance Sheet schedules
- Assist in annual finalization and preparation of financial statements.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants and internal auditors.
E. MIS &
- Management Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS reports for management.
- Provide financial analysis and variance reports.
- Monitor receivables, payables, working capital and outstanding balances.
- Provide accurate financial data to management for decision-making.
F. Team Management
- Supervise and guide the Accounts team.
- Allocate daily responsibilities and monitor work completion.
- Review the team's accounting entries and reports.
- Train team members on accounting procedures, GST, TDS and compliance.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end and statutory activities.
G.
Internal
Control &
- Audit
- Establish and maintain proper accounting controls and processes.
- Identify accounting errors, discrepancies and potential financial risks.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Ensure audit observations are resolved within defined timelines.
1. Required Knowledge &
- Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS and Income Tax basics.
- Excellent knowledge of Balance Sheet and P&L; preparation.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and finalization of accounts.
- Good knowledge of GST reconciliation and ITC.
- Experience in bank, debtor and creditor reconciliation.
- Strong knowledge of Tally/ERP/accounting software.
- Positive working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good team management and communication skills.
1. Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com preferred.
- CA Inter / CA qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Accounts &
- Finance.

- Accuracy of accounting and financial records.
- Timely GST and TDS compliance.
- Timely monthly closing and reporting.
- Accuracy of Balance Sheet and P&L.;
- Timely bank, GST, TDS, debtor and creditor reconciliation.
- Reduction of accounting errors and audit observations.
- Timely submission of MIS reports.
- Effective management of Accounts team.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
