Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon. This position is responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, traffic, and conversions across client websites and digital assets. Day-to-day tasks include conducting keyword research, performing technical and content-focused SEO audits, optimizing on-page elements such as metadata, headings, and internal linking, and monitoring performance through web analytics tools.

The specialist will manage and evaluate link-building initiatives, collaborate with content, design, and development teams to align SEO best practices, and prepare regular performance reports with actionable insights.



The role also involves staying current with search engine algorithm updates, industry trends, and tools to continuously refine and improve SEO outcomes.

Qualifications

- Ability to conduct comprehensive Keyword Research and develop data-driven SEO strategies.
- Experience performing detailed SEO Audits to identify technical, content, and structural optimization opportunities.
- Proficiency in ethical Link Building practices and off-page optimization techniques.
- Robust skills in Web Analytics, including using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and related platforms to monitor and report on performance.
- Hands-on experience with On-Page SEO, including optimization of titles, meta descriptions, URL structures, headings, images, and internal linking.
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar) and basic understanding of HTML/CSS as it relates to SEO implementation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to translate data into clear recommendations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with content creators, designers, and developers.
- Relevant experience in SEO for B2B or digital agencies is preferred; a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field is beneficial.
