Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will manage and optimize Criclive.in’s search presence to increase organic traffic, visibility, and user engagement. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Janakpuri, focused on improving rankings for cricket-related content and enhancing discoverability across search engines. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting keyword research for live commentary, news, and features; performing regular SEO audits to identify technical and content issues; and implementing on-page SEO best practices for articles, scorecards, and discussion pages.

The specialist will manage link-building initiatives, monitor performance using web analytics tools,



and provide data-driven recommendations to editorial and product teams. Collaboration with writers, developers, and social media staff is expected to ensure SEO is integrated into content planning and site enhancements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Keyword Research for content planning and targeting relevant cricket-related search queries.
- Candidates should possess experience in SEO Audits to identify technical, structural, and content-related optimization opportunities.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in On-Page SEO, including metadata optimization, internal linking, and content structure improvements.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Link Building to develop high-quality, relevant backlinks and strengthen domain authority.
- Candidates should possess skills in Web Analytics to track traffic, rankings, user behavior, and to generate actionable SEO reports.
- Working knowledge of major search engines, SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics, keyword and site audit tools), and basic HTML/CSS is beneficial.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into clear recommendations are important.
