Job Description: Active Directory AD on Premises

Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) in an on-premises workplace.
Manage users, groups, computers, organizational units (OUs), and service accounts.
Configure and manage Group Policies (GPOs) across the Windows domain.
Manage domain controllers, replication, DNS, DHCP, and related Windows Server services.
Perform user provisioning, deprovisioning, password resets, account unlocks, and access management.
Manage security groups, distribution groups, permissions, and access controls.
Monitor and troubleshoot AD replication,



authentication, DNS, and domain-related issues.
Support Active Directory migrations, domain upgrades, and infrastructure changes.
Implement AD security best practices, privileged access controls, and audit policies.
Manage Kerberos, LDAP, NTLM, and Windows authentication mechanisms.
Perform backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery activities for Active Directory.
Use PowerShell to automate routine AD administration and reporting tasks.
Troubleshoot Windows Server and domain connectivity issues.
Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure records.
