Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer RDK-B
Experience: 5–7 Years

Notice: Immediate -15 Days only
Location: Bangalore (Work From Office)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with solid expertise in RDK-B platform development to design, develop, and maintain embedded software solutions for gateway devices and communication systems. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in C/C++, Linux system programming, networking protocols, and embedded software development, along with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for gateway devices and communication/data management systems.
Develop and enhance solutions based on the RDK-B platform.
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Analyze, debug, and resolve complex issues in embedded systems.
Develop software specifications, technical documentation, and design documents.




Participate in code reviews, integration testing, and release activities.
Optimize software performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Follow software development best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications
5–7 years of experience in embedded software development.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with the RDK-B platform (preferred).
Robust programming expertise in C/C++.
Hands-on experience with Linux system programming, multithreading, and IPC mechanisms.
Experience working with CCSP, HAL, and Yocto build systems.
Strong understanding of networking protocols including:
TCP/IP
DHCP
DNS
IPv4/IPv6
Experience with development and debugging tools such as:
Git
Gerrit
Jenkins
Wireshark
Robust debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
