Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Ruby - Kolkata

Experience

8 - 12+ Years (Candidates with solid accounting experience in trading, retail, manufacturing, or similar industries will be preferred.)

Qualification
B.Com / M.Com / Equivalent Commerce Graduate
Additional certifications in Accounting, GST, or SAP will be an added advantage.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in Tally Prime/ERP and should possess working knowledge of SAP (preferred). The candidate must be capable of handling accounts independently while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain complete books of accounts and ensure accurate accounting entries.
Handle day-to-day accounting transactions using Tally Prime/ERP.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.




Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Perform Bank, Vendor, Customer, and Ledger Reconciliations.
Prepare and finalize Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, and Balance Sheet.
Handle GST-related activities including:
GSTR-1
GSTR-3B
GST reconciliation
Coordinate with auditors during statutory, internal, and tax audits.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and statutory requirements.
Maintain fixed asset records and inventory accounting.
Generate MIS reports and financial reports for management.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Support migration or operations in SAP whenever required.

Required Skills
Robust knowledge of Tally Prime / Tally ERP
Working knowledge of SAP (Preferred)
