About Position:

Responsible for migrating a large?scale wholesale banking data mart from on?prem Teradata to Google BigQuery, including schema redesign, SQL conversion, and ETL/ELT orchestration.Designs performance?optimized, cost?efficient BigQuery data models while ensuring data accuracy, controls, lineage, and regulatory readiness. Collaborates with business and technical stakeholders to deliver secure, production?ready analytics solutions with post?migration support and optimization.

What You'll Do:
- Design and develop batch and event-driven data pipelines on GCP.
- Build and optimize data warehouses and data marts using BigQuery.
- Develop and maintain workflows using Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow)
- Implement event-driven architectures using Pub/Sub and Cloud Functions.
- Manage and secure GCP resources using IAM roles and Service Accounts.




- Develop data ingestion frameworks to load data from various sources into Cloud Storage and BigQuery.
- Optimize BigQuery performance through partitioning, clustering, and query tuning.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting for production workloads.
- Collaborate with analytics, reporting, and business teams to understand data requirements.
- Ensure adherence to security, governance, and compliance standards.

Expertise You'll Bring:
- 5+ years in Data Engineering or Cloud Platform Engineering.
- 3+ years of hands-on GCP experience.
- Proven experience with BigQuery-based enterprise data platforms.
- Experience implementing cost governance, chargeback reporting, and operational monitoring solutions
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Regulatory Reporting domains
