About the Role

Eisen Consultancies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Direct Tax & Litigation Assistant to support the firm’s direct taxation compliance and tax litigation matters. The role involves handling tax assessments, appeals, documentation, and coordination with authorities while ensuring timely statutory compliance.

Direct Taxation knowledge and hands-on experience is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Direct Taxation (Mandatory)
- Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, firms, and companies
- Tax computation, working of provisions, and reconciliations
- TDS calculations, return filing, and compliance management
- Advance tax and self-assessment tax workings
- Maintaining tax records and compliance documentation
- Assisting in responding to Income Tax notices and departmental communications





Tax Litigation & Appeals
- Drafting and filing replies to notices, scrutiny, and assessment proceedings
- Preparation and submission of appeal filings before CIT(A), ITAT, and other authorities
- Compiling case files, supporting documents, and legal submissions
- Coordination with consultants, advocates, and tax authorities
- Tracking litigation matters, deadlines, and hearing schedules
- Assisting in representation and follow-up for ongoing tax cases

Documentation & Compliance Support
- Maintaining proper records of tax files, orders, and correspondences
- Preparing reports and compliance trackers
- Supporting audits, assessments, and reconciliations
- Coordinating internally for financial and accounting data
- Any other taxation or litigation-related assignments as required

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting or related field (B.Com preferred)
- 2–4 years of expe
