Dispatch & Logistics Supervisor — Roles & Responsibilities

A Dispatch & Logistics Supervisor is responsible for managing the protected, accurate, timely, and cost-effective movement of modular furniture from the factory to the project/site, ensuring that the correct materials reach the correct location in the required sequence and condition.
Dispatch Planning & Execution
Prepare daily dispatch plans based on project priorities and site requirements.
Coordinate with Planning, Production, Assembly & Packing, Stores, and Project teams.
Ensure only approved and completed furniture is dispatched.
Plan dispatch according to installation sequence and site readiness.
Ensure vehicles are arranged as per volume, weight, and delivery requirements.
Project-Wise Material Coordination
Verify furniture and components against project requirements.
Ensure materials are segregated project-wise and location-wise.
Check module numbers, room numbers, package numbers, and installation sequence.
Prevent mixing of materials between projects.




Coordinate missing or pending components before dispatch.
Packing & Dispatch Verification

Before loading, verify:
Furniture quantity
Module/component identification
Packing condition
Hardware/accessories
Labels and package numbers
Dispatch documents
Delivery destination
Ensure damaged or incomplete packages are not dispatched without approval.
Loading Management
Supervise protected loading of furniture into vehicles.
Ensure proper loading sequence.
Protect furniture against scratches, dents, moisture, and movement during transportation.
Ensure proper use of straps, separators, padding, corner protection, and other protective materials.
Optimize vehicle space without compromising product safety.
Transportation & Logistics Coordination
Coordinate with transporters and drivers.
Plan vehicle availability according to dispatch schedules.
