Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Java SDE-I to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Java programming, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and backend development. This role offers an opportunity to work on scalable applications, REST APIs, microservices, and contemporary cloud-native technologies while collaborating with experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and production issues.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and senior developers.
- Develop unit and integration test cases to ensure code quality.
- Work with databases to design and optimize queries.
- Support CI/CD and deployment activities.
- Learn and adopt engineering best practices, design patterns, and secure coding principles.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Java 8/11/17
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Knowledge of Spring Boot and REST APIs
- Understanding of SQL and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)




- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
- Basic understanding of Microservices architecture
- Problem-solving and debugging skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills
- Spring Data JPA/Hibernate
- Apache Kafka or Message Queues
- Docker and Kubernetes basics
- AWS/Azure/GCP exposure
- JUnit and Mockito
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Redis or caching concepts
- Understanding of System Design fundamentals

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
