Brief

- We are seeking a seasoned Scrum Master with a strong background in facilitating fast-paced, high-quality product releases. The ideal candidate will act as both a leader for the development team and a change agent within the organization, guiding teams through complex release cycles, managing interdependencies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Scrum Facilitation & Coaching

- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and time-boxed.

- Coach the team on Agile principles, fostering a self-organizing and cross-functional environment.

- Remove impediments (blockers) that impede team progress, taking ownership of resolution when blockers fall outside team control.

Change and Release & Deployment Management

- Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed product backlog and define release scope, goals, and planning.

- Coordinate technical interdependencies between multiple teams, stakeholders, and external vendors during release cycles.

- Manage the release schedule, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and align with DevOps best practices.

- Act as a change agent, driving organizational change to increase team productivity and adopt Agile best practices.

- Help teams transition from traditional methodologies to Agile, providing training and mentorship to team members and stakeholders.

- Implement improvements identified in retrospectives to enhance team efficiency and workflow

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: 7-8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile development environment.

- Release Expertise: Demonstrated experience managing software releases, including familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and deployment processes.

- Tools: Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.

- Leadership: Strong servant leadership skills; ability to guide teams without using coercion.

- Communication: Excellent facilitation and conflict-resolution skills.

- Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or Secure Agilist certification preferred
