About the Role We are seeking an exceptionally talented and highly experienced SAP S/4HANA Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP) Functional Consultant to support the design, configuration, testing, cutover, deployment, and stabilization of SAP S/4HANA aATP solutions for implementation projects across South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand .
This is a hands-on implementation delivery role requiring deep, dedicated SAP aATP expertise and multiple full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation experiences. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, integration teams, system integrators, and regional process owners across the APAC region.
Critical Requirement
This is not a support or AMS role . Candidates whose experience is primarily focused on production support, incident management, or ticket-based support will not be considered .
Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of dedicated SAP aATP experience , including substantial hands-on experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. SAP S/4HANA aATP Solution Design & Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of SAP S/4HANA aATP solutions across implementation and rollout phases.
- Facilitate fit-gap assessments, requirements workshops, process-design discussions, and solution blueprinting.
- Translate business requirements into scalable SAP aATP solutions aligned with global template standards and regional business requirements.
- Own functional design decisions and provide expert-level SAP aATP subject matter expertise.
- Ensure solution designs support business priorities while maintaining global template integrity.
1. Advanced Available-to-Promise Functional Scope
Provide hands-on functional expertise across the following SAP S/4HANA aATP capabilities:
- Product Availability Check (PAC)
- Backorder Processing (BOP)
- Product Allocation (PAL)
- Alternative-Based Confirmation (ABC)
- Supply Protection (SUP)
- Release for Delivery (RfD)
- Availability Check Control
- Confirmation strategies
- Checking groups and checking rules
- Business prioritization rules
- Fulfillment and confirmation logic
- Material availability and supply allocation processes
1. Cross-Functional Integration
- Partner closely with SAP SD / Order-to-Cash, MM, EWM, PP, TM, FI/CO, Master Data, and Integration teams.
- Ensure effective aATP integration with:
- Sales orders
- Deliveries
- Warehouse processes
- Production and supply processes
- Inventory planning
- External fulfillment systems
- External planning and integration platforms
- Collaborate with technical teams on WRICEF objects, enhancements, interfaces, and CPI/integration requirements.
- Analyze cross-functional impacts and ensure end-to-end process integrity.
1. Testing, Cutover & Deployment
- Prepare and review Functional Design Documents, configuration documentation, test scripts, and solution specifications.
- Lead and support SIT, UAT, defect triage, regression testing, and solution validation for aATP processes.
- Support cutover planning, go-live preparation, deployment readiness, and hypercare stabilization.
- Drive timely issue resolution while maintaining global template integrity and regional deployment commitments.
- Support deployment teams throughout implementation and go-live activities.
1. Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the functional SAP S/4HANA aATP SME within the Aurora program.
- Engage directly with business users, process owners, deployment leads, system integrators, solution architects, and technical workstreams.
- Lead business and solution workshops.
- Present solution options and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Document design decisions and drive alignment across countries and workstreams.
- Effectively communicate complex aATP concepts to both technical and business audiences.
Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory Requirements
- 8+ years of dedicated SAP aATP experience , with deep hands-on configuration and implementation delivery expertise.
- Multiple SAP S/4HANA implementation experiences; a minimum of three full-lifecycle implementations is strongly preferred .
- Strong hands-on implementation experience with:
- PAC
- BOP
- PAL
- ABC
- Supply Protection
- Release for Delivery
- Deep understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes and aATP integration with sales, inventory, delivery, and fulfillment processes.
- Solid understanding of:
- Material availability
- Supply allocation
- Inventory management
- Fulfillment confirmation
- Confirmation strategies and prioritization
- Experience working on large-scale, global,
multi-country SAP transformation programs.
- FMCG / Consumer Products experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong functional documentation, configuration, testing, deployment, cutover, and go-live experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead business workshops and work directly with senior stakeholders and regional deployment teams.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications relevant to SAP aATP.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- SAP EWM and/or SAP TM integration experience.
- Experience designing and working with interfaces and integration solutions.
- Prior experience in FMCG, Consumer Products, or Manufacturing industries.
- Experience supporting APAC rollouts and multi-country deployment programs.
- Experience working with global SAP templates and regional localization requirements.

Implementation Focus The selected consultant will be responsible for SAP S/4HANA aATP implementation deliverables supporting deployments across South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand . The primary focus of the role will be:
- Solution design and blueprinting

- Business requirements and fit-gap analysis

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be a senior SAP S/4HANA aATP specialist , rather than a general SAP SD or supply-chain consultant, with extensive dedicated aATP implementation experience and a proven track record of delivering complex, multi-country S/4HANA transformations. Candidates with primarily SAP support/AMS experience, without substantial hands-on aATP implementation experience, will not be considered.
