- 1.2 PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Join our IT/IS team supporting the European AM Distribution Business and the broader AMDS segment as a SAP IBP Senior Functional Analyst within our SAP Center of Excellence. The role is based in the Technology GCC in Hyderabad and will contribute to the stabilization, support and continuous improvement of the SAP IBP template deployed for AMDS. The position requires a versatile profile combining strong SAP IBP functional expertise, configuration capability and integration awareness. The analyst will work closely with IS & Digital teams, business process owners, key users, integration teams and external partners to ensure that SAP IBP effectively supports demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning and exception-based planning processes.

Given our medium size and the business we serve, it requires a high level of versatility and the ability to adapt quickly to priority changes.

- 1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintain, support and continuously improve the SAP IBP template for AMDS, with focus on sustainable configuration, application support, incident analysis and defect resolution.
- Support and enhance SAP IBP Demand Planning, Response & Supply, Order-Based Planning, Inventory Planning and Control Tower / Alerts capabilities.
- Translate business planning requirements into robust functional designs, configuration changes, test scenarios and support documentation.
- Manage solution changes with autonomy, including impact analysis, documentation, technical specifications, configuration, structured testing and deployment coordination.
- Support integration topics between SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA, especially around master data, transactional data, RTI, SAP Cloud Integration, monitoring and issue resolution.
- Contribute to project activities, rollout preparation, UAT, training,



hypercare and post-go-live stabilization for demand and supply planning processes.
- Work closely with business users, process owners and IT teams to identify improvement opportunities in the planning process and SAP landscape.
- Ensure template governance, documentation quality, Unity governance rules, segregation principles and SOx compliance are respected.
- Act as a knowledge anchor in GCC for SAP IBP supportability, configuration understanding and continuous improvement after implementation partner handover.

Hands-on SAP IBP senior functional expertise, covering Demand Planning, Response & Supply, Order-Based Planning, Inventory Planning and Control Tower / Alerts. Ability to support and configure SAP IBP planning areas, master data types, attributes, planning levels, key figures, calculation logic, versions, scenarios, planning operators, copy operators and application jobs.

Strong functional understanding of statistical forecasting, forecast enrichment, Most Recent Forecast, forecast accuracy and bias, demand segmentation, history cleansing, forecast release and demand-to-supply handover.

Strong functional understanding of supply heuristics, constrained and unconstrained planning, source of supply selection, supply proposal generation, purchase requisitions, stock transfer requisitions, target inventory and projected days of coverage.

Knowledge of inventory planning topics such as safety stock logic, service level, projected stock, stockout risk, slow movers, days of supply and inventory policy compliance.





Strong integration knowledge with SAP S/4HANA, especially Real-Time Integration (RTI) and SAP Cloud Integration (CI), including master data, transactional data, job scheduling, monitoring, smoke testing and issue resolution.

Ability to understand and support non-standard AMDS logistics flows such as direct, semi-direct and cross-dock flows, configurable materials and planning BOM or generic BOM workarounds where required.

Understanding of forecast consumption, forecast disaggregation, open forecast calculation, aggregation levels and planning level logic between demand and supply planning.

Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA logistics integration points relevant to IBP, including materials, customers, vendors, plants, info records, purchase orders, purchase requisitions, stock transfer orders, sales orders, production data structures, BOM and routing concepts.

Ability to support testing, UAT, training, hypercare and stabilization activities, including defect analysis, configuration validation, user support and documentation.

Valuable analytical skills to monitor and improve planning KPIs such as forecast accuracy, forecast bias, service level, days of inventory, projected stock, stockout risk, slow movers, supply shortages, capacity utilization, delays and sourcing alerts.

Experience working in a structured project and support environment using tools such as Jira for incidents, change requests, enhancements and delivery follow-up.

Overall knowledge of SAP S/4HANA environment and capabilities, including BTP and Fiori applications.

Professional English, minimum B2 level, with ability to work in an international environment across Europe and India.

Optional

o Previous SAP APO experience, especially DP, SNP or PP/DS.

o Broader S/4HANA logistics knowledge in MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM or aATP.

o Experience in multi-country template deployment, user authorization concepts, country-level segregation and support organization setup.
