We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Gemstone Assorter to evaluate, classify, and sort gemstones based on their quality, size, color, shape, and other characteristics ( Semi

Key Responsibilities:
Examine and sort gemstones according to shape, size, clarity, cut, and color ( Semi
Precious Stone).:
Identify different types of gemstones using gemological tools and techniques.
Classify stones based on internal grading systems or customer requirements.
Detect flaws, inclusions, or irregularities that affect the value of stones.
Match gemstones for consistency in color and size for sets or jewelry pieces.
Maintain records and inventory of sorted gemstones.
Collaborate with gemologists, jewelers, designers, or procurement teams.
Follow safety and handling procedures for delicate or high-value stones.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; certification or training in gemology (e.g., GIA, IGI) preferred.




1+ years of experience in gemstone sorting, quality control, or jewelry manufacturing.
Excellent vision and attention to detail.
Familiarity with gemstone types, properties, and valuation factors.
Manual dexterity and precision handling small objects.
Robust organizational and record-keeping skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with colored gemstones ( Semi
Precious Stone).
Use of gemological tools such as loupe, microscope, and spectroscope.
Knowledge of industry grading systems (GIA, AGS, etc.).
Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
