- Source and identify reliable suppliers for construction materials, equipment, tools and other project requirements.
- Compare and evaluate quotations from multiple suppliers based on price, quality, specifications, delivery timelines and commercial terms.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and other terms & conditions with vendors.
- Prepare and process purchase orders as per approved requirements.
- Coordinate with project/site teams to understand material requirements and ensure timely procurement.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials at the required site/location.
- Review the quality and specifications of purchased materials and coordinate with the concerned team in case of quality issues.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, alternative products and competitive pricing.
- Maintain proper records of quotations, comparative statements, purchase orders, invoices and vendor details.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the concerned departments for timely replenishment.
- Prepare purchase reports,



cost comparisons and other procurement-related MIS reports.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and potential vendors.
- Coordinate with Accounts, Stores, Site and Project teams for smooth procurement and payment processes.
- Resolve vendor-related issues concerning quantity, quality, delivery and commercial terms.
- Ensure procurement is carried out in accordance with company policies, approved budgets and authorization procedures.

Required Candidate Profile
- Experience in purchase/procurement of construction materials is preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of the local supplier and construction-material market.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Good numerical and analytical ability for quotation comparison and cost analysis.
- Good understanding of purchase orders, material specifications and delivery processes.
- Strong follow-up and order-management skills.
