Business Analyst Commercial Insurance 4+ Years Mumbai

We are hiring a Business Analyst – Commercial Insurance – 4+ Years for a leading General Insurance organization. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Commercial Insurance, Business Analysis, General Insurance, Product/Process Design, Requirement Gathering, and Stakeholder Management who can work closely with business and technology teams to build scalable insurance solutions.

Responsibilities –

1. Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for Commercial Insurance products and processes.
2. Work with Commercial Lines, Product, Technology, Underwriting, and Operations teams to translate business needs into functional requirements.
3. Prepare BRDs/FRDs, user stories, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
4.



Identify process gaps and opportunities for automation, digital transformation, and operational efficiency.
5. Support UAT, solution validation, implementation, and stakeholder sign-offs.

Requirements –

1. Graduate/Postgraduate with 4+ years of relevant Business Analyst experience, preferably in General Insurance/Insurance Technology.
2. Strong experience in Commercial Insurance / Commercial Lines with an understanding of insurance processes.
3. Good knowledge of Underwriting, Policy Administration, Endorsements, Renewals, Claims, Premium, and insurance lifecycle processes.
4. Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, BRD/FRD, user stories, process mapping, and UAT.
5. Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and business-to-technology translation skills.
