- Quality planning: Writing quality manuals, method statements, and rules for projects.
- System management: Making sure company work matches ISO 9001 or other industrial rules.
- Vendor audits: Checking third-party suppliers and factories before buying parts.
- Process review: Looking at design drawings and plans to stop mistakes early.
- Material inspection: Testing incoming raw metals, pipes, valves, and fittings for flaws.
- Site checks: Inspecting mechanical equipment setup, leveling, and alignment.
- Joint testing: Witnessing welding tests, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and hydrostatic pressure tests.
- Issue tracking: Writing Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when work fails to meet standards.

Test plans: Following and signing off on Inspection Test Plans (ITP).
- Record keeping: Saving test logs, calibration sheets, and material certificates.
- Handover files: Preparing final data books for the client when the project ends
- Degree or Diploma with 3 years experience handling mechanical QA /QC profile for civil or any process industry. Oil and gas company experience would be an advantage
