Job Summary:
The PPC Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling production activities to ensure on-time delivery, optimum resource utilization, inventory control, and customer satisfaction while maintaining quality and cost targets.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Production Planning
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer requirements.
Develop production schedules considering machine capacity, manpower, and material availability.
Balance production load across departments.
Production Control
Monitor production progress against the plan.
Identify production delays and implement corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to production schedules.
Material Planning
Coordinate with Stores and Purchase to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages and excess stock.




Plan material requirements based on production forecasts.
Customer Order Management
Review customer schedules and delivery commitments.
Prioritize production based on customer urgency.
Ensure on-time delivery (OTD) performance.
Capacity Planning
Analyze machine and manpower capacity.
Recommend overtime, additional shifts, or subcontracting when required.
Optimize equipment utilization.
Coordination with Departments
Work closely with:

Maintenance

Resolve production and material-related issues promptly.
Inventory Control
Monitor WIP (Work-in-Progress).
Maintain optimum levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
Reduce excess inventory while preventing stock-outs.
ERP/MRP Management
Update production plans in ERP/MRP systems.
Ensure accurate production and inventory records.
Generate planning and production reports.
