Purpose/Objective

The Network & Cloud Cybersecurity Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day network security operations, ensuring that the organization's network infrastructure is protected from cyber threats.
This role includes monitoring, detecting, and responding to network security incidents, leading a team of network security professionals, and implementing security policies and controls to safeguard the network.
The Lead will work closely with the broader cybersecurity and IT teams to maintain network resilience, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with internal and external security standards.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Network & Cloud Cybersecurity Lead Network Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Oversee 24/7 network monitoring to detect security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
Lead the investigation and response to network security incidents, ensuring timely detection, containment, and remediation of issues.
Develop and manage incident response protocols specific to network security incidents,



coordinating with cross-functional teams for resolution.
Network Security Tools and Technologies Management: Oversee the configuration and management of network security tools (e.
g.
, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, network monitoring platforms).
Ensure the technologies 100 percent uptime for business continuity Ensure network security technologies are properly tuned, updated, and optimized to detect and prevent security incidents.
Implementation of current security technologies and features Vulnerability Management and Risk Mitigation: Conduct vulnerability assessments and network penetration tests to identify security gaps within the network infrastructure.
Lead efforts to remediate vulnerabilities by working with IT teams to apply patches and updates to network devices and systems.
Manage risk assessments for network infrastructure and collaborate with other cybersecurity teams to implement mitigation
