Role & responsibilities

Production Planning & Execution Plan daily/weekly production as per the production target and ensure timely completion.

Manpower Management – Allocate manpower across shifts and activities and ensure optimum utilization of workers.

Quality & Process Control – Ensure production is carried out as per quality standards, SOPs, and process parameters.

Machine & Equipment Management – Monitor machine performance, coordinate preventive maintenance, and minimize breakdowns and downtime.

Safety & Compliance – Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, PPE requirements, and statutory/plant safety standards.

Productivity & Cost Control – Improve production efficiency, reduce wastage, control production costs, and achieve productivity targets.





Material Management – Coordinate with Stores/Procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials.

Team Leadership – Supervise production supervisors/operators, provide guidance, conduct toolbox talks, and address workforce issues.

Documentation & Reporting – Maintain production records, shift reports, downtime reports, rejection/wastage data, and other MIS.

Continuous Improvement – Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
