Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Quantity Surveyor / QS Engineer
with a minimum of
5 years of relevant experience in civil/building construction
to join the project team for a commercial hotel construction project in Vijayawada/Amaravati.

The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on experience in
quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, measurement, subcontractor billing, client billing, material reconciliation and cost control
.

Candidates with experience in
commercial buildings, hotels, high-rise buildings or large-scale building projects
will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs and estimates for civil and finishing works.
- Prepare detailed quantity calculations from architectural,



structural and MEP drawings.
- Conduct regular site measurements and maintain accurate measurement records.
- Prepare and verify contractor/subcontractor bills based on actual site measurements.
- Review subcontractor RA bills, work orders, measurements and supporting documents.
- Prepare client bills / RA bills and ensure timely submission.
- Carry out rate analysis for various civil, structural and finishing items.
- Monitor project quantities against the BOQ and identify variations.
- Prepare and maintain variation statements, extra items and deviation statements.
- Track project costs and assist in maintaining effective cost control.
- Reconcile quantities of key materials such as cement, steel, concrete and other construction materials.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, Planning Team, Purchase Team, Accounts Team and subcontractors.
