Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Shimla. The Salesperson will engage with walk-in and referred customers to understand their travel needs, present suitable holiday packages, and guide them through booking and payment processes.

Responsibilities include following up on leads, preparing quotations, explaining itinerary details, and answering questions about destinations, pricing, and services. The role involves maintaining accurate records of inquiries and bookings, coordinating with operations or ticketing teams,



and ensuring timely communication with customers before and after travel. The Salesperson will also help identify new sales opportunities, support promotional campaigns, and contribute to meeting individual and team sales targets.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients.
- Solid sales and negotiation abilities, including experience working with targets, lead management, and closing deals.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages as applicable.
- Basic knowledge of travel and tourism services, such as holiday packages, accommodations, and transportation options.
- Comfort with using computers and common office tools (email, spreadsheets, CRM or booking systems).
- Ability to work on-site full time in Shimla, manage multiple customer inquiries, and stay organized under time pressure.
- Prior experience in travel, hospitality, retail, or related customer-facing roles is an advantage.
- Relevant education in business, tourism, hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
