Position: SAP ABAP Developer / Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer / Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience . The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in up-to-date ABAP development, including CDS Views, SAP Workflows, OData Services, APIs, and SAP enhancement techniques such as BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits .

The consultant will work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and other technical teams to design, develop, enhance, and support SAP solutions.

Must-Have Skills

- 6+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience
- Strong experience in CDS Views , including development and enhancement
- Hands-on experience with SAP Workflows
- Strong experience developing and supporting OData Services
- Experience with API development and integration within the SAP landscape
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP enhancement techniques, including:
- BAPI
- BADI
- User Exits / Customer Exits
- Strong knowledge of core ABAP development concepts, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Ability to analyze functional requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Experience working with functional and cross-functional teams in SAP implementation, enhancement, and support environments

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test,



and maintain SAP ABAP programs and technical solutions.
- Develop and enhance CDS Views, OData Services, APIs, and SAP Workflows .
- Design and implement SAP enhancements using BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and other enhancement frameworks .
- Analyse business and functional requirements and prepare appropriate technical solutions.
- Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of ABAP developments.
- Develop technical specifications and maintain appropriate technical documentation.
- Conduct unit testing and support functional teams during integration testing and UAT.
- Resolve technical issues and provide ongoing support for SAP applications.
- Follow SAP development standards, coding best practices, and change management processes.
- Collaborate effectively with SAP functional consultants, integration teams, business users, and other stakeholders
