Key Responsibilities
Identify training gaps and prepare training calendars and plans aligned with business requirements.
Conduct sales training on prospecting, customer engagement, negotiation, territory management, retailer/mechanic engagement, and sales execution.
Deliver training on automotive lubricants, other auto aftermarket parts and components, product applications, specifications, benefits, USPs, and competitor products.
Conduct field visits, on-the-job training, sales observations, coaching, and performance improvement sessions.
Develop presentations, product modules, technical manuals, videos, quizzes, case studies, role plays, SOPs, and other training materials.
Conduct engaging classroom, virtual, field, and practical training sessions for sales teams and channel partners.
Conduct assessments, evaluations, and certification programs to measure and improve participant knowledge and skills.
Monitor training outcomes through feedback, assessments, field observations, and performance improvement reports.
Manage and develop a network of technical and sales trainers and ensure consistent training quality across locations.
Use LMS, AI tools, digital content, videos, and other technology-enabled learning methods to improve training effectiveness.
Coordinate with clients, brand teams, sales teams, and trainers to ensure successful training execution.
Key Skills Competencies
Strong knowledge of the automotive lubricant industry/auto aftermarket parts and components industry
Experience in Field sales, and training within the lubricant/automotive aftermarket sector.
Strong product, technical, and sales training skills.
Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
Experience in content development,
assessments, and certification.
Robust field coaching and mentoring abilities.
Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and practical manner.
Good knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Excel, LMS, and digital training tools.
Knowledge of regional languages will be an advantage.
Willingness to travel when necessary across India.
Preferred Background
5 8+ years of experience in sales, training, or capability development.
Experience in the automotive lubricant industry is preferred/mandatory.
Hands-on experience in lubricant sales and marketing.
Prior experience as sales officer, ASM, Trainer, Sales Trainer, Technical Trainer, Product Trainer, or Training Manager.
Experience in classroom, field, product, technical, and sales training.
