Key Responsibilities
- Assist in Statutory Audit, Internal Audit and Tax Audit assignments.
- Assist in Stock Audits, Receivable Audits and other Bank Audits.
- Verification and vouching of purchase, sales, expenses, receipts, payments and journal entries.
- Verification and reconciliation of debtors, creditors, inventory, bank accounts and other ledger balances.
- Assist in preparation and review of financial statements, schedules and supporting workings.
- Accounting and bookkeeping using Tally and other accounting software.
- Preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in GST compliance, including return workings, reconciliations and related documentation.
- Assist in Income Tax and TDS compliance, including return preparation and supporting workings.
- Assist in MCA/ROC and other statutory compliance assignments.
- Preparation and maintenance of audit working papers, supporting documents and client data.
- Assist in preparation of MIS reports and financial analysis.
- Coordinate with clients for collection of data, documents,



confirmations and explanations required for assignments.
- Visit client offices, factories, branches and other locations as required for audit assignments.
- Perform other accounting, audit, taxation and compliance-related assignments allocated by the firm.

Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of Accounting.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Basic knowledge of Tally will be preferred.
- Willingness to learn and work across different areas of audit and taxation.
- Positive communication and client-coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Willingness to travel for client assignments, wherever required.
