Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day social media content across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and X.
- Take ownership of multiple content IPs and execute them end-to-end.
- Research trends, topics, formats, creators and audience interests to identify content opportunities.
- Develop monthly and weekly content calendars and maintain consistent publishing.
- Build and manage relevant content buckets for different platforms and IPs.
- Ideate content concepts, hooks, scripts, captions, CTAs and social-first formats.
- Shoot short-form videos and other content independently.
- Edit Reels, Shorts and other social media videos independently.
- Create basic social media creatives wherever required.
- Repurpose content across platforms while adapting it to the format and audience of each platform.
- Monitor content performance and identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement and retention.
- Stay updated with emerging social media trends, formats, memes, creator trends and platform changes.
- Experiment with current content formats and continuously improve content quality and output.
- Use AI extensively across research, ideation, scripting, content creation, repurposing and workflow automation.
- Coordinate with the marketing team while independently managing day-to-day content execution.
The ideal candidate should:
- Have an existing Instagram page/creator account with a history of regular content posting.
- Understand how social media content works beyond basic posting.
- Have a good understanding of hooks, storytelling, retention and CTAs.
- Be capable of taking a content idea from concept script shoot edit publish independently.
- Have experience creating short-form video content.
- Understand how to plan content calendars and content buckets.
- Be camera-friendly and comfortable appearing in videos.
- Be comfortable experimenting with different content formats and trends.
- Be highly curious, proactive and eager to learn new skills.
