Role Overview

Dave Standards is looking for a
Freelance Content Strategist
who can develop creative, engaging, and performance-focused content concepts for ad creatives across different projects and brands. The role will involve working across multiple content formats and adapting ideas based on the platform, audience, and campaign objective.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop
content strategies, concepts, and scripts
for paid ad creatives across different projects.
- Create concepts for
UGC, Podcast-style, Long-form, Short-form, testimonial, storytelling, and performance-driven content
.
- Research trends, competitors, audience behaviour, and winning ad formats to identify new creative opportunities.
- Develop strong
hooks, storylines, CTAs, and content angles
focused on engagement and conversion.
- Adapt the same product/message into multiple creative formats and variations for testing.
- Work closely with
video editors, content creators, designers, and performance marketing teams
to execute concepts.
- Review creative performance and use insights to improve future concepts, hooks,



and scripts.
- Maintain consistency with brand guidelines while experimenting with new creative styles.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience
in content strategy, advertising, creative strategy, or a similar role.
- Solid understanding of
performance marketing and ad creatives
.
- Experience creating content strategies for
UGC, Reels/Shorts, Podcasts, YouTube, and long-form content
.
- Excellent understanding of
hooks, storytelling, audience psychology, and conversion-focused content
.
- Ability to work across different industries, products, and target audiences.
- Strong research, communication, and creative thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver within agreed timelines.
- Experience with D2C/e-commerce brands will be an added advantage.
