JOB DESCRIPTION – SERVICE ENGINEER

**Travel:** Extensive travel to customer/project sites as required
1. Job Purpose

To provide efficient technical and after-sales service support for **Doosan/Bobcat and CONMAT construction equipment**, ensuring maximum machine uptime, quick resolution of breakdowns, customer satisfaction, and growth of the dealership's service and spare-parts business.

The role will involve field service, machine installation and commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, warranty support, customer coordination, and service documentation.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Field Service & Troubleshooting

* Attend customer breakdowns and service calls within the assigned territory.

* Diagnose and resolve **mechanical, hydraulic,



electrical and engine-related problems**.

* Carry out inspection, repair, maintenance and machine health checks at customer sites.

* Minimize machine downtime through quick and effective troubleshooting.

* Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance as per OEM/service schedules.

* Identify recurring technical issues and recommend permanent corrective actions.
B. Installation & Commissioning

* Carry out **installation, erection and commissioning** of new machines/equipment.

* Conduct pre-delivery inspection (PDI) and machine readiness checks.

* Ensure proper machine setup before handing over equipment to the customer.

* Conduct machine testing and performance checks after installation/repair.

* Provide basic operator training regarding machine operation, safety and maintenance.
C. Customer Support

* Maintain skilled relationships with customers, operators and site
