About the Role

We are looking for a
passionate and experienced Social Science Teacher
to join a reputed coaching institute in Rajkot. The ideal candidate should be able to make Social Science engaging, conceptual, and exam-oriented for students of Classes 8–10.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach
History, Geography, Civics & Economics
to Classes 8th–10th.
- Deliver engaging and concept-focused classroom lectures.
- Prepare students for
CBSE & GSEB board examinations
.
- Explain difficult concepts using practical examples, maps, current affairs, and visual learning methods.
- Prepare and conduct
class tests, assignments, quizzes, and revision sessions
.
- Analyse student performance and provide individual guidance where required.




- Complete the syllabus according to the institute's academic schedule.
- Prepare students for
board exams and competitive-level academic assessments
.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and student-friendly classroom environment.
- Coordinate with the academic team regarding syllabus planning and student progress.

Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in
Social Science / History / Geography / Political Science / Economics
or a relevant field.
- 1–3+ years of teaching experience
preferred.
- Experience teaching
CBSE and/or GSEB students
will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in
English
.
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
- Ability to explain concepts in a simple and effective manner.
- Passionate about teaching and helping students achieve robust academic results.
