MMA Coach — Job DescriptionPosition Overview

We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and disciplined MMA Coach to lead training sessions and help athletes develop their skills, fitness, technique, confidence, and competitive performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct MMA training sessions for beginners, intermediate, and advanced athletes.
- Teach and develop skills in striking, wrestling, grappling, takedowns, submissions, defense, and conditioning.
- Create individualized training programs based on each athlete’s goals, abilities, and fitness levels.
- Prepare competitive fighters for amateur and professional bouts.
- Monitor athletes’ progress and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Maintain a safe, disciplined, and positive training environment.
- Demonstrate proper techniques and ensure athletes follow appropriate safety procedures.
- Develop strength, conditioning, endurance, agility, and mobility programs.
- Organize sparring sessions and supervise athletes during training.
- Keep up to date with contemporary MMA techniques, training methods,



and competition rules.
- Communicate effectively with athletes and, where appropriate, parents or guardians.
- Maintain gym equipment and ensure the training area remains clean and safe.

Requirements
- Proven experience as an MMA coach, fighter, or combat-sports trainer.
- Strong knowledge of MMA, including striking, wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu/grappling, and conditioning.
- Relevant coaching qualifications or recognized combat-sports certifications are preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
- Ability to work with athletes of different ages and skill levels.
- Positive understanding of injury prevention and safe training practices.
- Professional, punctual, disciplined, and team-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications
- Competitive MMA experience.
- Coaching certification in MMA, boxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
