We’re Hiring | Copy Editors (WFH – Full Time)/ HSS (Humanities and Social Sciences) copy editors to edit Bloomsbury books.

Newgen KnowledgeWorks is looking for skilled Copy Editors to join our team in a full time, work-from-home role.

Role & Responsibilities- Correct mechanical errors, inconsistencies, and infelicities in grammar, usage, syntax, and punctuation.- Ensure content adheres to publisher guidelines and style guides (e.g., Chicago Manual of Style, APA, and MLA).- Verify references, citations, tables, figures, and cross-references.- Identify inconsistencies and raise editorial queries.- Collaborate with authors and publishers to meet the needs of the intended audience.- Work proficiently with MS Word, Track Changes, templates,



and digital publishing tools.- Meet production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.

Skills & Experience

1–5 years of copyediting experience in books or journals.
Strong command of the English language

Compensation

CTC: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month
