Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Software Asset Management (SAM) initiatives.
- Engage with business stakeholders, application owners, procurement teams, vendor managers, and IT leadership to gather and analyze requirements.
- Conduct workshops and requirement discovery sessions to define SAM operating models and processes.
- Design and implement scalable solutions using BMC Helix SAM/ITAM, CMDB, CSDM, and Flow Designer.
- Establish end-to-end software asset lifecycle processes, including request, procurement, deployment, usage tracking, renewals, and retirement.
- Manage software license compliance, entitlement management, and audit readiness controls.
- Ensure governance, optimization, and compliance across software assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective asset management solutions.
Required Skills
- 6-10 years of experience in BMC Helix SAM/ITAM.
- Solid knowledge of CMDB, CSDM, and Flow Designer.
- Experience with software licensing, compliance management, and audit support.
- Understanding of software asset lifecycle management and governance processes.
- Knowledge of ITIL and IT Asset Management best practices.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
