Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Nawai. The Electrician will install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, panels, and equipment used in mining and metal processing operations. Daily responsibilities include performing routine maintenance and repair tasks, diagnosing electrical faults, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime. The role involves working with industrial machinery,
ensuring compliance with safety standards, and documenting work performed. The Electrician will collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams, respond to breakdowns, and support continuous improvement of plant reliability.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess robust practical knowledge of electricity and core electrical work.
- Candidates should possess skills in maintenance & repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Candidates should possess the ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess foundational understanding of electrical engineering principles relevant to industrial environments.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in Electrical trade or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience as an industrial or plant electrician, preferably in mining, metals, or heavy manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of electrical safety stand
