Responsibilities

- Interview key individuals, including witnesses and sources, to obtain firsthand insights.
- Craft well-structured and engaging articles based on findings.
- Maintain an awareness of audience perspectives and interests.
- Be on the ground to cover breaking news and important events.
- Investigate leads and follow up on news tips.
- Uphold journalistic integrity and adhere to ethical reporting standards.
- Maintain detailed notes and audio recordings for accuracy.
- Collaborate with editors, journalists,



and media producers.
- Build and sustain a network of contacts and sources for future reporting.
- Stay up to date with current affairs by reviewing news sources and attending key events.

Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience as a
Journalist
or
Reporter
with a portfolio of published work.
- Strong ability to meet deadlines and fact-check information rigorously.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current news and global affairs.
- Proficiency in digital tools, including
MS Office, web research, digital editing, and databases
.
- Excellent communication and networking skills with the ability to extract crucial information.
- Strong observational and analytical abilities.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
