JOB DESCRIPTION – QA/QC ENGINEER
JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer responsible for ensuring that materials, fabrication, installation, and final products meet required quality standards, specifications, and project requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect incoming materials, equipment, fabrication, and installation activities.
- Prepare and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Quality Plans, and checklists.
- Conduct inspections as per approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Coordinate NDT activities such as RT, UT, MT, and PT where applicable.
- Monitor welding activities, including WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, and weld inspection.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures and inspection techniques.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, welding, and fabrication.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.
