Job Summary

The Inventory Management Executive is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, verifying shipments, tracking asset distribution, and ensuring compliance with internal inventory control procedures. This role requires robust attention to detail, disciplined documentation practices, and effective coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth inventory operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

Maintain and update inventory tracking systems, asset registers, and inventory records regularly.

Verify shipments and ensure quantity, condition, and documentation are accurate.

Handle inventory documentation such as receipts, issue notes, stock movement records, and asset allocation records.

Track and manage asset distribution to departments/users with proper acknowledgment records.

Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile physical stock with system records.

Identify and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, or damages.





Perform accurate system entries for inventory transactions and stock movements.

Maintain organized digital and physical inventory records for audit purposes.

Generate inventory and stock reports using MS Excel or similar tools.

Follow company inventory procedures, policies, and compliance standards.

Support audit activities by providing accurate inventory records and documentation.

Coordinate with procurement, logistics, finance, and internal departments regarding inventory matters.

Communicate inventory status, stock availability, and related issues effectively.

Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of inventory items.

Mandatory Requirements

Master’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or relevant discipline.

Basic knowledge of inventory tracking systems and asset management.

Experience in inventory management or store operations will be an added advantage.
