Key Responsibilities
Academic Delivery
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with CBSE and Cambridge curriculum frameworks.
Develop annual curriculum plans, unit plans, lesson plans, and assessment schedules.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
Promote conceptual understanding through inquiry-based, experiential, and application-oriented learning.
Integrate technology, digital tools, and creative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
Encourage mathematical reasoning, critical thinking, and real-world application of concepts.

Curriculum & Assessment
Prepare students effectively for Board examinations (CBSE Grade X/XII) and Cambridge assessments (IGCSE/AS & A Levels, where applicable).
Design formative and summative assessments in line with curriculum expectations.
Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.




Analyse assessment data to identify learning gaps and implement intervention strategies.
Conduct remedial and enrichment sessions for students requiring additional academic support.

Classroom Management
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom workplace.
Establish high expectations for student behaviour and academic achievement.
Ensure student safety and well-being in accordance with school policies.

Student Development
Mentor students and support their academic, social, and emotional growth.
Encourage participation in Mathematics Olympiads, competitions, STEM initiatives, and enrichment programmes.
Promote independent learning, collaboration, and a growth mindset.

Collaboration
Work closely with the Mathematics Department and cross-functional teams to ensure curriculum alignment and interdisciplinary learning.
