Role Description:

RAAH Group is seeking a technically skilled and proactive Sales cum Purchase Engineer for our Pune office. This full-time, on-site role involves managing both sales and procurement functionsranging from handling quotations, technical support, sourcing, purchasing, and engaging in sales activities. The Sales cum Purchase Engineer will work closely with customers and suppliers to provide technical solutions, drive sales growth, and ensure timely and cost-effective procurement to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales:

1. Understand our products/services’ technical features, functionalities, and benefits.
2. Study customer Enquiries/RFQs, analyze specifications, and prepare relevant solutions.
3. Identify customer needs, pain points, and business challenges to propose the best solutions.
4. Generate leads and proactively reach out to potential customers.
5. Communicate with customers and prospects via calls, emails, and in-person visits.
6. Address and resolve client queries and complaints in a timely manner.
7. Prepare and draft proposals, quotes, and other sales documents.
8. Manage the sales process from initial contact to closing.

Achieve monthly sales targets.

Purchase/Procurement:

1. Source and evaluate suppliers for materials, products, and services.
2. Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
3. Ensure timely procurement of goods/services while maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness.
4. Coordinate with internal teams to align procurement with project/sales requirements.
5. Maintain accurate purchase records and update supplier databases.
6. Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships for long-term collaboration.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
2. 2–5 years of experience in sales, procurement, or supply chain management (Oil & Gas/Engineering industry preferred).
3. Solid technical knowledge and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
4. Proven experience in presenting technical products/services, providing expert advice, and troubleshooting customer issues.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions.
7. Self-motivated, target-driven, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
8. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
9. Willingness to travel as required.
