Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage the entire procurement process from purchase planning to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiate prices, and ensure quality standards meet company requirements.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, track inventory levels, and monitor stock movements to optimize storage capacity.
- Analyze market trends, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement strategic purchasing decisions.
Job Requirements :
- 15-25 years of experience in purchase management or a related field in the iron & steel industry.
- Robust knowledge of purchase vendor development, negotiation techniques, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in preparing purchase orders (PO) processing through ERP systems like SAP or similar tools.
