Role Description
The Senior Tax Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Pune City. This position oversees end-to-end tax planning, compliance, and advisory for SME and mid-sized clients, including direct and indirect tax matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing tax computations and returns, managing tax audits,



supervising tax preparation work, and ensuring adherence to current tax laws and regulations. The Senior Tax Manager will lead client engagements, provide strategic tax planning recommendations, support litigation and representation before tax authorities, and collaborate with accounting and payroll teams to optimize tax-productive structures. The role also includes mentoring junior team members, maintaining documentation and processes, and contributing to continuous improvement of the firm’s tax and compliance offerings.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Tax Planning and Tax Strategy to optimize client tax positions while ensuring risk management.
