Job Title: Safety Officer

Location: Nellore, Andhra Pradesh

Experience: Minimum 37 Years as a safety officer in construction industry

Education: Diploma / Degree + Safety Certification

Language: Hindi – Mandatory

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct daily safety inspections at the construction site.
- Identify hazards and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks, Safety Induction and regular safety training.
- Prepare and implement JSA/JHA, Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Permit to Work (PTW).
- Monitor work-at-height, scaffolding, excavation, lifting, electrical and hot-work activities.
- Ensure proper PPE usage and compliance.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and prepare reports.
- Maintain HSE records, inspection reports and safety documentation.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, contractors and workers.
- Ensure fire safety,



emergency preparedness and first-aid arrangements.
- Stop unsafe work and immediately report reliable safety violations.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the project.

Candidate Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the Construction Industry.
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
- Safety Diploma/Certification such as ADIS/DIS/PDIS preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety procedures.
- Hindi communication is mandatory as the candidate will interact with Hindi-speaking workers.
- Knowledge of English/Telugu will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with NEBOSH/IOSH certification will be preferred.

Preferred Location: Nellore / Andhra Pradesh Hindi is mandatory for this position.
