Roles and Responsibilities

- Conduct risk identification, hazard analysis, and HIRA to identify potential safety risks in the workplace & Mine Premises.

- Comply statutory and Safety, Health and Environment policy requirements

- Develop and implement effective safety management systems, including incident investigation procedures and emergency response plans.

- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to industrial safety.

- Perform regular safety inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for mitigation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop job safety analyses (JSAs) and conduct work permit system reviews.

- Preparation of the annual and monthly Safety Management plan

- Provide adequate supply of PPEs and other safety items for safe work environment

- Implement SOP,



Risk Assessment and Management directives

- Monitor PPE implementation at Mines to reduce incidents/ accidents to reduce injury

- Initiate corrective/ preventive action for any safety noncompliance/ deviations/ violation

- Conduct regular Mock drill safety preparedness during emergency

- Conduct Hazard analysis & risk assessment of each activity

- Analyze Injury rate, Severity rate, frequency rate, LTI & prepare MIS report

Desired Candidate Profile

- B.Tech / B.E. degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized institution & First Class Mine Manager Competency Certificate from DGMS.

- Solid knowledge of safety regulations, safety management systems, accident investigation techniques, HSE documentation practices.
